Ralph (Raf, Raph) Cleeremans studied at the Academy in Brussels and in the Académie Julian in Paris.

In 1959, he founded the "Belgian Aluchromists" together with other Belgian Artists: Crivellaro, Arié Mandelbaum, Octave Landuyt, Jules Lismonde, Hugo Claus, ea. They had a group exposition in Munchen. In 1961 he maked fresco's on aluminum plates. From 1966 he makes relief-works: “Tridimentional Art” and joins the exposition “Artachromie” in New-York en in other states of the USA.

Ralph Cleeremans is specialised in ink and aquareltechniques. He also makes mixed media works with ashes, ink, oils and pigments on papers and collages of old documents.
