Floris Jespers was a Flemish painter. In his early period his work has lots of similarities with the work of Rik Wouters zowel. In 1918 he breaks with that period and some Cubistic elements show up in his works. In the twenties he also creates some constructivistic concepts. Nevertheless the figurative aspects remain dominant in his works.
