Sunday, july 12th, the Dutch writer and artist Simon Vinkenoog has passsed away in Amsterdam due to a cerebral haemorrhage. During the CoBrA years, Vinkenoog had good contacts with the movement. He allso worked as a painter and created lots of drawings.

Simon Vinkenoog was a special apperance with his long gray and blonde hear. He was a very positive personality and tought of enjoyment as the first commandement. The sixties were the ideal period for him. He always pleaded in favour of cannabis-legalisation.
