contemporary art in a historical frame
Regularly Kunstzolder organises exhibitions in het Chapel of a monistary in Eeklo. The former monastery in Eeklo was built between the years 1890 and 1902. The nuns left the building in 2003. Nowerdays, in the neo-gothic chapel and the choir, Kunstzolder presents artworks to the public.
Because the monastery is a building of public heritage, each year a special collection exhibition is organised on the occasion of Open Monument Day in september.
