Raoul De Keyser is a Belgian artist. He started in 1964 and is seen as an important representative of the New Vision, a style that combines recognisable objects from our daily lives with an abstract interpretation. In 1966 and '67 he painted the cellars of the Castle of Beervelde together with Roger Raveel, Etienne Elias and Reinier Lucassen. During the 70ties he style evolved to the abstraction with links to objects and shapes in landscapes.
