Henk van Trigt studied during the sixties at the Royal Academy in Den Haag. From the beginning he connected with a style that had a great appeal to him. His professor, Joost Baljeu teached him about the arise of 'de Stijl'.

van Trigt's style is called 'Constructivism'. The purity of the form and the proportions of color are the main points of this style.
