This Belgian artist was born in Waregem. His father was a house painter and in his younger years, Denis was inspired from the dripping paint of Jackson Pollock. He also had an importantinspiration from the Cobra movement. His works are mostely big and impressing with a very strong link to Sam Fancis and Pollock.
