Van Giel is an artist from Antwerp, who makes lightworks and assamblage works. He has familiorised himselve with techniques with neonlights and blacklighs. He also made some walpieces and photo's in a very typical Van Gliel style. Since the early nineties he lives in Greece where he makes his typical furniturepieces that he calls 'funny functional art'.
