Jef van Tuerenhout (Mechelen, may 23th 1926 – Wenduine, 4 march 4th 2006) was a Belgian painter, sculpturor, ceramic artist and designer of jewlery.

During his carreer, he evoluated with is style from miseralism trough Flemish expressionism to a neo-expressionism and finaly a surrealistic magical realism. Sometimes he is called the last surrealist of Belgium.
