The sculptures of Maen Florin show us a surface, a cocoon or shell with a personality hidden beneath.

This personality is often complex so that the interpretation of the viewer can not possibly be separated from his or her own person. The figures are typical, and though they are shown in the group, the only visible link is the otherness. That way they make a journey with themselves.
